Thoughts on Christmas

I have often observed that the people who complain about Christmas becoming too commercialized are usually the ones who see no problem with companies telling their employees to say "Happy Holidays" rather than "Merry Christmas" so they don't offend anyone.

Let me make this abundantly clear, hear and now. If you are so ready to be offended that the words "Merry Christmas" totally mess with your head, and cause you "undue mental pain and anguish", you have bigger problems than when Macy's put up their first gift box display. And, I reserve my God given right to make fun of you for being a hypocritical dumbass. I don't get all butt sore because someone says Happy Hanukkah in my presence. However, I do still insist that Kwanzaa is just made up BS and refuse to even acknowledge it.

Restricting the practice, the FULL practice of Christianity is still religious bigotry. Put as much perfume on that pig as you like, but underneath, you're still a foul-smelling, rancid, small minded bigot who fears absolutes and morals. Try to run and hid from stuff like a message of love and forgiveness, and following rules that you did not make, but in the end, you're still a religious bigot, no better than the Kluckers in Mississippi who want to kill people just because of their skin color. That's right, you are NO DIFFERENT.

So get out your Christmas Trees, put out your lights and say Merry Christmas to one and all. Because it's my way out outing the pigs in our midst. I'll even buy them a bottle of Eau de Toilet.

Merry Christmas my Christian friends. Happy Hanukkah to my Jewish Pals. Piss off to anyone who is offended by that.

I wrote almost the exact same blog, only not quite so scathing. :-)
