It's Been Awhile

As Ed Morrisey was kind enough to point out, this morning, I have not really written anything this summer. Work has been brutal but steady, and there have been books, philosophical treatises to read, John Adams to watch and The Federalist Papers over which to peruse and wonder at the brilliance and utter stupidity of Alexander Hamilton.  All in all I am going to consider this summer as the Summer of the Founding Fathers.  It sure beats last summer as the Summer of Recovery.  Besides, I just couldn't be arsed.  It's hot in Texas.

This morning, an acquaintance of some years was railing at me about some link I put up on Facebook, asking me if I really thought I was better off now that I was four years ago.  Which tells me he did not read the attendant article thoroughly.  It can be forgiven.  He rides a motorcycle and I find I have to give him some leeway for not completely understanding the pure political things I post on Facebook sometimes. Irrational, maybe, but harmless in the main.

He then asked me if I honestly thought that my posting on Facebook, those articles of a political nature, and my observations and remarks could truly change anything.  I think I shocked him by saying, no, I really did not.  I further shocked him by saying that for things to go as necessary to make America great again, Obama has to win 4 more years, and perhaps another liberal after him.  For we are so very close now to an utter and complete collapse of the Liberal agenda that I am rubbing my hands in delight and expectancy.  I believe I will see hope and change in my lifetime and it has EVERYTHING to do with failed Liberal policies.  We have to allow it to happen, it needs to happen.

I will give you time to pick your jaw up off the floor, clean up your desk and calm your temper.  It's OK, I have a snack here. I'll wait.

The only way to ensure that Liberalism is never again allowed to flourish in the halls of human potential is to make sure it fails so completely that it is held up as the measure of what is never to be allowed.  Such as we now hold up Fascism.  I just now thought how odd it is that Socialism is not held up as such considering Joseph Stalin's contribution to killing people for no reason whatsoever.  I wonder how that determination is made and by whom... But, I digress.  It is necessary to allow Liberal policies to lead to their ultimate destination so that all can see that Liberalism is the philosophy of death, degradation and hatred.  There is nothing uplifting or even remotely humanitarian in the Liberal agenda.  The few elite wish for everyone else to live as their slaves, making the lives of the elite better while the rest live in squalor and famine.  As long as they are not hungry, filthy or wanting, it's OK.  Equal opportunity? What do you, the great unwashed need for opportunity, get back to serving the elite!

You want to be something more than you are?  Behold the culmination of mental slavery.  There are millions of minorities out there who have no realization whatsoever that they are nothing more than ballot cattle to the Liberals who cry and weep with them in an election year and could not possibly care or think about them beyond election day.  They are kept on their Project plantations and excoriated if they ever wish to leave that plantation and think for themselves.  Ask Alfonso Rachel or Dinesh Desouza how well they fare in Liberal circles.  They are called names, everything but a white boy.  Yeah, those Liberals and their Verbal Alchemy (be sure to read my articles on that high art of Liberalism) sure know how to make words what they aren't and were never meant to mean.  Only could a Liberal think that Uncle Tom was a bad character in literature.  It shows how lacking their understanding is.

And yet, I want these people to stay in power.  Nancy Legosi and Dingy Harry, along with Barry make the end so much sooner and more possible.  Because it is on their ruins I wish to build a new America.  An America with a free market and better written constitution in which Congress has no power to regulate or influence commerce. Where real welfare is spelled out completely with no wiggle room.  Where the ONLY think the government is allowed to do is provide for the common defense and enter into treaties and collect tariffs for the good of the nation.  How can we afford everything?  Listen up it's very simple, I will now list everything we get rid of:
  • Social Security - save for your future, don't expect anyone else to do it for you.  You make the best decisions for you.
  • Medicare/Medicaid - again, don't expect to leech off others because you couldn't be arsed to buy health insurance.
  • Income Tax - it's illegal and immoral, period.
  • IRS - because a revenue agency should be under the Dept of Treasury not its own bloated agency.
  • EPA - the president giveth, the fed up populace taketh away.
  • Department of Education - and all public education.  When you pay for your own education you appreciate what you know better and are more willing to guard your mind and the fruits borne of it.
  • Department of Homeland Security - really, do I need to explain this one?
  • Department of Health and Human Services - again, I repeat myself.
  • Congressional pensions - You serve your time, you go home, period.
  • FDA - Because in a free market and with the immediacy of the internet, you don't produce what you promise, you're done within days.  Goodbye, no government perks to keep your useless ass on the golf course.
You get rid of just those things and we can well live within our means and pay off our debt. Ask the states that have no income tax how they do it.  They US can do it as well.  The Federal Government can't ask us to do more than our own states do.  And if they do, that state should secede.  I can tell you now, Texas is on the cusp.  We have the resources and the balls to back up being on our own and frankly, we didn't join the Union because we couldn't hack it as our own nation.  We did it because we thought we were joining something great. Little did we know, a Texan would begin our slippery slide to squalor and ignorance.  LBJ and his "Great Society" that would "keep the ni**ers voting Democrat for the next 100 years!".  I hope he's being anally raped with barbed wire in hell by Hitler.  Go ballot cattle on your plantation.

Think about it, rationally, dispassionately and you will see that the only way for rational people to succeed in this world, today, is to let our lessers "win".  Let them win all the way to an ignominious end.  Let them crash and burn, then build a better nation on their bones.

So as for what I have been doing all summer instead of reading, let me quote the jacket blurb from one of the books I picked up...

I actually meant "slightly satirical", but "sarcastic" works here also! I think sarcasm is good in certain areas when seriousness needs to take a break, especially if it is delivered well!

I totally agree with you, wipe the slate clean and start from scratch. I don't know how anyone from any political point of view can save this country in it's current state. There is to much downward momentum. Get the pain over with quick instead of this steady drip.

I am with you on the income tax too. How did people come to accept that the government should be able to pry into your business, take a percentage of your income and have the power to jail you if you do not comply ?

They say it's all in what you get used to, and you'd be amazed at what you can get used to. People in head shrinking circles call it being inured. Cattle are inured, sheep are inured. People should not be.
