I got a very nasty headache after waking up to no power this morning, thanks to the remnants of a tropical system that gave Central Texas some desperately needed rain. I worked all day with it, came home, tutored the girl child through cooking dinner (she did a fantastic job, BTW) and then decided to take some migraine medicine and eat some chocolate. After a great shoulder massage from the spousal unit, I slept a bit, then woke up, with the usual energy I have after a headache.
So, I thought to myself, being the bright little candle on the cake that I am, go watch some PJTV, you're a couple of days behind. So I head on over there and to Breitbart's Big sites and I found a new On Demand TV Channel. I think I'm in love, but then again, I've always had a thing for Kelsey Grammer.
So anyway, I am over at RightNetwork, looking at all the colors and pictures and thinking I could put my knowledge of genetics to work well enough to create the Gazelephant and I literally stumbled upon this speech by Evan Sayet to the Heritage Foundation on March 5, 2007. It speaks to something near and dear to my heart. What is at the very heart of liberalism. I hope you give it a watch, it's 45 minutes long and very revealing as he brings several points I've tried to make here, on my blog, to such clarity that it nearly brings tears to your eyes. This guy is over on RightNetwork, and I think he's funny.
So anyway... I'm off to try to get some sleep before I'm forced to run around in the morning. Let me know what you think. This guy hits the nail on the head with every point. RightNetwork is the greatest thing since PJTV.
I've said it, so it must be true.
