It's Fun To Charter an Accountant And Sail The Wide Accountancy

Crimson Permanent Assurance

I'm sorry, whenever I think of Piracy I think of the Crimson Permanent Assurance short from Monty Python's Meaning of Life.

I was thinking of piracy this morning because of an action taking by YouTube against a video put up by the NoCapNoTade Coalition folks. I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out what reason they used to justify this action. The video (Thanks to Breitbart TV) is a parody of the song Hitchin' A Ride by Vanity Fair, released in 1969. Hide the Decliine is good American fun poked at the Climategate scientists who decided to gin the data so they could get more funding to research warming that wasn't happening.

This leads me to believe that YouTube are possibly long haired hippy types who perhaps do not hold a true grasp on reality. Perhaps YouTube isn't really all about the voice of everyone. Perhaps they sold their little hippy souls to the RIAA and MPAA so they could go tilt at windmills. Get it... Oh, I slay me! Thanks, I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your waitress.

Unless and until YouTube can give me a damned good reason why they pulled the videos, I think I shall post all of my videos on YouPorn, just to mess that site up. I'm also e-mailing the powers that be at YouTube to ask them why they pulled the videos, because I am just that kind of nosy bitch who will force them to answer.

Yeah, I'll hold my breath for an answer, too.

Actually it is a parody of Draggin' The Line" by Tommy James and the Shondells.
I, sadly, do not understand all the references of the parody, but I get the gist. Funny.

Dave, I sit corrected. For some reason it was kinda clanging in my head all day long as being wrong. I blame the food poisoning I've had.
