Society

We're constantly bombarded by our government with messages about our society.  As if society is a living, breathing thing.  Society is constantly changing.  Just ask the Romans. More societies and cultures have been lost to progress than any other thing in history.  Everything changes and we are stuck with politicians and leaders who wish to push us back to the Dark Ages.

Ayn Rand once said, "Culture is not the anonymous product of undifferentiated masses, but the sum of the intellectual achievements of individual men."  And she was correct in that assessment. Culture is not government subsidized art.  Culture is not defecating on a cross or screaming rude lyrics or driving an electric car. Culture is a society that grows and changes by the efforts of individual men and women pushing forward and extending our boundaries.  It is not sticking your head in the sand and wishing you were a Robber Baron in medieval England.

Our current set of idiots wish for us to be ignorant.  Why do you think inner city schools are really the worst ever?  Keep them ignorant and dependent on government for their lives and you will stay in power.  That is why their attacks on anyone who goes off the Government Plantation are particularly brutal.  If you have to ask what the Government Plantation is, make sure you're not on any sort of government assistance before popping off in the comments.

I've mentioned the Modern Day Underground Railroad before. It exists.  All you have to do is take the shackles off your mind that the leaders of our government have placed their through their agents of the state, i.e. school teachers and the media, and really see the world.  Take your blinders and shackles off and look around you.  Are we really better off than we were 45 years ago when that idiot Johnson enacted the "Great Society"?  Only if, by great, you really mean, living in despair and ignorance.  There are people out there willing to help the individual see and realize his potential.  However, most people today are too stupid and/or too lazy to do anything for themselves.  Why should they?  Momma Gubmint will do it all for them and they can just lay down.

Stay home, watch TV, eat free food, have kids the government will house, clothe and feed for you and then indoctrinate in schools where they are taught not to think or question and that the only hope for them is Momma Gubmint and her fat ass checkbook.  They are entitled to this.  Entitled to the fruits of the labors of others. The world owes them and Momma Gubmint will collect for them and give them what she feels is right.

We need to keep pushing or society forward.  We need to do it by being successful and innovating.  As George Clinton once said, free your mind and your ass will follow.
