What Do We Want?

I've been asked this by confuddled little Progressive Liberals as they travel from dance class to soccer practice to base ball games. What do you people want? It's easier to tell them what we don't want, new taxes or more government intrusion in our lives. You get rolled eyes and "good luck with that" thrown at you. So I had to ask myself, what DO we want?

We want a government that stays out of my life and just provides for the common defense. Trust me on this, providing for the common defense and staying out of our lives will promote the general welfare. No, Shaqueetha, we don't mean more Food Stamps. Put that baby daddy down, and back slowly away.

We want to be able to do whatever we do to the best of our abilities without Obama and Nancy Legosi bending us over the table to steal our money without the benefit of even lube.

We want the people in DC to stop talking to us like we're retarded children and saying it's all for our own good. I'll decide what's best for me, thank you Harry Reid.

We want the right to teach our children the correct history without liberal coloring of events. We want our children to learn critical thinking so that they can recognize these types on the playground and devise a way to make them social outcasts so that they never get elected or even hired into any responsible position. I've never seen a "Vote for Stinky Peterson" placard. EVAR.

We want the right to earn money, invest money and save money without the worry that some welfare queen is going to think of a way to make it all due to her for her pain and suffering while waiting for her gubmint cheddah.

We want the recognition of absolutes. Right and Wrong. Black Hat and White Hat. It's the grey thing all over again. I'm sensing a theme.

We want journalists to report how things are. Not how they wish them to be.

We want minorities to realize they are enslaved by their entitlements.

We want Liberal Progressives to actually read Uncle Tom and realize that they are the slave behind him more than willing to whip the escaped slave. Nobility is anathema to them. We want them to learn nobility and their lack of it.

We want Sean Penn and Bill Mahr and Joy Behar to just shut the hell up already. Yeah, there is free speech, but everyone must realize the impact of their words upon the listener. Words have a meaning. Please, all of you, buy dictionaries.

We want logic and reason to once again dictate our destiny and not some whim of some public school educated bureaucrat with a Harvard educated Boss.

We want peace and prosperity, and if you can work World Peace in there, too, good on ya!
