Squeezing Money Out of Nancy Pelosi's Bra

I love post-presidential address blow back. Especially when the supporters of bad legislation come out to try to justify the funds needed for their "gimmes".

Ms. Pelosi has said, and I quote, "We do have to be fiscally responsible. We will live by the rules of the CBO. But it's also true that the CBO doesn't count things that we know will save money, like prevention, wellness and end-of-life issues. You don't need to be a congressional accountant to know those will save money. We are very confident that this bill will have savings, and many of them will not be counted by the CBO. But they will save money. Outside groups can document them. We will live by the rules so we are fiscally sound and all the rest. But that doesn't mean we won't have other provisions that save money, but won't be scored."

She said that July 22, 2009. On September 9, 2009, after Mr. Obama's address to joint houses she said that legislators plan on making up the SBO "budgetary shortfall" 'by squeezing excesses out of the system..." by finding $500 billion in reduced waste, fraud, abuse and redundancy. The rest will be paid for in pay-as-you-go funding and cuts in other spending.

"Squeeze it out of the system, and that means out of the providers and the rest as well," she said.

Pumpkin, let me tell you a little story. When Medicare was enacted in 1965, the year I was born, it was ALREADY IN A HOLE. You cannot make something out of nothing. According to the laws of physics. You cannot make an entire new mandated, tax funded medical plan and it not cost money. It's going to cost over 3 Trillion dollars over the next 19 years according to the facts that the CBO and the Democrats themselves have admitted to be true. The numbers do not add up.

The Galen Institute, currently studying Health Care in America said, after the speech, "... it's not possible to insure up to 30 million people with better coverage and reduce costs at the same time."

Of course, that number of people who need to be insured changes each time the Dems open their pie holes. Last week it was 46 million. Next week it will be something else, depending on whether or not they want to include illegal aliens. And, don't ever forget, they want the illegals included, because they have a better chance at being elected to office illegally between Acorn and shoddy voter registration if they allow illegals more than anchor babies, WIC and food stamps.

I wonder what will happen to Pelosi and her ilk once the "providers", the insurance companies, the doctors and the rest of the sheeple wake up and realize they've been sold down the river. Pelosi needs to head back to her Peoples Republic of Kalifornia and drink more Napa Valley wine and live in her Utopian society there. Oh wait... doesn't California have the biggest income shortfall and highest tax per capita of any other state in the union?

I think I may be on to something. It's other people's money...
