still smells like a rat.
Now that the Obama Administration has stopped patting themselves on the back over getting any Health Care legislation started up in Congress, and now that the ACORN chicken has come home to roost, they are apparently able to hear the months long cries for explanation as to the 40 to 50 "czars" that they appointed to policy positions. Now, call me a strict traditionalist, but I don't remember the Constitution saying anything about these "czars". In fact, it would seem to me that these "czars" are an end run around the constitution to enpanel a sort of "Super Cabinet" that the US Senate neither advises nor consents to enpanel. Is anyone else getting an FDR vibe and a Kitchen Cabinet sort of resonance? Just me? Moving on...
Forgive me, but it seems unconstitutional.
Now, don't start with the "oh you stupid, right-wing, redneck, inbred consercative freak" stuff. I know damned well that most presidents have had these "czars" and gotten away with them. But nearly 50 of them? And, when it's come out to say "oh, that's not what they are, we don't even use the term czar!"
Mr. Obama, would you like to emend that statement? Because you have, in fact, used the term czar on numerous occasions before and after you were elected to the highest office in the land. I know, because I've heard it on the nightly newscasts almost every single damned day since you've taken office.
You would think after the Van Jones LCF you folks there in DC would learn to have a little respect for the law. Perhaps the Senate advising and consenting on these people is not a "bad thing". But, as history has shown us time and again, liberals never learn lessons from history. If they did then perhaps I wouldn't miss the Clintons and their classy administration compared to these n00bz.
Yeah, I called you n00bz. Why? Because of all of the most crass, newbish behaviour it's ever been my misfortune to witness, the Obama Administration is the WORST. You guys are running this administration like a... I hesitate to say Student Counsel in a Reform School, but that insults the young criminals with hopes of political career in the future. It's completely amateur hour in DC and our foes know it. Hell, I can hear France cackling with cronish delight all the way in Texas. When John Stewart is on Comedy Central's farce of a news show (at least they are honest about it) making fun of your lack of movement on the ACORN scandal and the number of czars in the administration, you know the ONLY lower level they could sink to would be to put Phillip Garrido as Czar of Female Sex Education.
If you want to see the people behind the campaign, look to the czars. It would seem to me that the administration is handing out czarships like some sort of political cheddar for pulling one over on Hilary Clinton in the election. You are seven freakin months into your administration and already the Nixon presidency looks cleaner. Watergate will be nothing compared to this group of teenagers with a car and a credit card while the parents are out of town.
So, go ahead, collect my name and comments, White House. Bring it on. I will go totally Galt on your asses. Watch me. But that still won't change the fact that none of you have the political acumen to win Dog Catcher in Podunk. How you got to this level has more to do with color and nothing to do with ability. And I am all about the ability.
